Adventurer, Creator, and Explorer of Stories

My name is Rodrigo, I’m 38 years old, a father, and a traveler passionate about exploring the world without strict itineraries. I was born in Americana, São Paulo, and 11 years ago, I chose Ireland as my home. My journey has always been driven by curiosity and the desire to discover new places, cultures, and meanings—and this passion led me to create R’Laith, a brand of engraved jewelry and watches inspired by adventure and deep personal connections.

A Life in Motion

From an early age, traveling became part of my identity. Before moving to Ireland, I explored almost the entire American continent, visiting numerous countries, except for Canada, the United States, Paraguay, and the Guianas. Each trip brought new discoveries, and my instinct to embrace the unknown has always guided me.

 

 

Once in Ireland, my thirst for adventure continued. In my first two years living here, I traveled to almost 20 European countries. Later, I embarked on a journey to Asia, spending three months exploring Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, and Malaysia.

My travels also took me to Africa, where I had unforgettable experiences in Morocco and Egypt. More recently, I ventured into Palestine, Israel, Russia, and Finland, always letting intuition guide me—without strict plans, simply following the moment.

Exploring Ireland and Sharing Adventures

In addition to international travels, I dedicate myself to exploring every corner of Ireland, searching for hidden places, ancient ruins, and breathtaking landscapes. I’m always in pursuit of new experiences, and some of my most remarkable adventures include:

🚴 Cycling from Dublin to Clifden – 338 km in 15 and a half hours.
🏄‍♂️ Paddleboarding across Howth – round trip, discovering hidden coastlines.
⛰️ Exploring mountains and ruins – always seeking new stories.

Now, this passion has become even more special as my 5-year-old daughter, Taile-Laith, has started joining me. Together, we are discovering ancient castles, medieval churches, and historical sites. Seeing the excitement in her eyes with each new discovery inspires me to keep going.

The Birth of R’Laith

For years, I searched for a project that truly had meaning for me. That’s when R’Laith was born—a fusion of my name ("R"odrigo) with my daughter’s name (Taile"Laith").

Each piece I create carries a special and sentimental touch, reflecting my passion for stories, symbols, and meaning. My watches are inspired by constellations and Gaelic words, embodying the essence of adventure and resilience. The engraved jewelry I craft for my clients is more than just accessories—they are reminders of unique moments and emotions.
